		<description>I totally agree with you, Loomnie. Any short-term perspective is narrow-lensed as you lack the basic understand of a nation so entirely different from your own. It requires and lot of heart and a huge amount of humility to actually be able to do some (permanent) good in the world, and from the more I see of the aid industry, the less good intentions I see.</description>

		<description>I agree with you too.... But I just want to point to it that Africa is a continent, and not a country. One cannot conclude about the whole of the continent from experiencing just a small, tiny part of one of the countries. Most aid workers' impressions of African countries are often very narrow-lensed. I have met many of them and I have not been impressed by what I heard from them.</description>
