As I see it, you can live it in two ways: look for ways to maintain your own lifestyle without letting in anything new (that's often pretty hard...), or doing what you can to adopt the new lifestyle you see around you, best you can. Of course I just read it as there was a link in one of your latest blogs. However, I can relate in many ways. I'm still trying to figure out how I can live in Ethiopia, but people ask me things like "did you have enough food to eat while you were there?" It amazes me. thank you for sharing your insight.
