Saturday morning means a long sleep-in, a cosy breakfast (including a latte and an Nigerien orange or grapefruit!) and then the tour of the house and garden to see if anything has changed…
Are the basil plants still alive..?

Will Anette’s latest coat of paint keep the water in our mini pool from leaking out?
Have the mares eaten all the trees in their paddock, or has Sahara finally settled her appetite for wood…?
Has Arwen’s belly grown…? If so, is it from lack of exercise or because there’s a little something growing within…?
Will Dennis the Menace allow me back in to his life, after spending a true honeymoon with Anette (he is a true “one man’s dog”, as we say in Swedish…)?
And how warm is it going to be actually?
Ah… I guess I’ll just have to get out of bed and find out!
