The most culturally correct thing to do in Niger when you come back after a longer absence, is to visit all the people who matter to you. Socializing is the key. If you’re too tired or too busy to go from house to house just after having arrived, they’ll make it to you, because everybody who needs to know, will know that you have arrived. And so Sunday will be spent socializing and catching up on everything that has happened while I’ve been away.

I’ve added a post about your blog on EWAN. I hope people take the time to click through, read your blog and find out more about the people of Niger.

Hey Ishtar!
Can you put an RSS feed on the main blog page. I’m lazy. The RSS feed on your old blog spoiled me.
