I was dead tired after the journey - had not slept all night before traveling! Although the night in Kano was short as well (went to bed after 1 am and had to get out of town in time of the Friday prayer - when much of the traffic is closed off) it was soooo welcomed!

If I were a professional photographer, I’d enjoy every moment, for there are endless amount of photo ops - anywhere you look.

In some places, you look up at the sky and see the stars. In Kano, you look up and see the electricity lines…

One of the few things that make it to my “Hope I never have to do that!” list is driving in Kano… Luckily for me, I’ve managed to avoid it so far!
