People often ask me how come I don’t have leather-colored skin, seeing I live in one of the hottest countries in the world which gets such a large portion of the world’s selected sun hours… Well, I do enjoy sunbathing and find few things as relaxing as half an hour in the sun, but the thing about 42 degrees of heat (Celcius) is that it gets amazingly uncomfortable within a very short period of time. And seeing I don’t want to have a heat stroke in the near future, I choose not to go for the leather-colored tan. But I do try to enjoy daily stints of sunshine, as the light and the outdoors gives me so much joy!

True, but on the contrary, people in your midst do not expect you to look anything but bleak white, at least not until summer arrives! But hey, if anyone’s looking for a leather-coloured tan, go for the Swedish summer rather than Niger’s Super Sun.
