My dad is in Niger for the time being, which is allowing us Garvis to catch up on precious family time!
Here is Tabita and her aunt spending half a siesta in her grandfather’s pool. It was soooo nice, and thanks to her grandfather’s efforts (and a pool that is too deep for her to stand on her own feet), Tabita is learning to swim!

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackÅh, vad härligt det ser ut!
Kramis!!!
So can you remind me again , what your dad did , I remember you told me he crossed the tenere desert right ?
@Karin: I wish I could come too! I miss you guys… Drink lots of coffee for me too, ok?
@Niger: Let me introduce myself in the true Zinderien way (meaning what I do is not as important as whom my family is…): I am the daughter of Arne Garvi and Bettan Garvi, the founders of Eden Foundation. My dad is the executive director. He first crossed the Sahara in 1974, and as a family, we crossed it three times: in 1986, 1991 and 1996.
@Karin: NÄMEN KARIN!
inte alls tråkigt. roligt roligt.
Är helt oförstående till vad du menar
