There’s been a few changes going on at Isthar’s Ark, and I’m loving the feel of the inner walls, which are being sprayed with the red Nigerien soil.

The plants look even greener then they did before with this new background, and the view from our veranda is fabulous!

Our little kiddie pool is without a doubt our favourite spot during the siesta heat,

… and for those of you who know what a coffee addict I am, this picture needs to further explanation.

Many are the Isthar pets who would like to join in on this wet spot, but the veranda is off limits, even to the “Dennisen” who has finally come over his female crush and has started to eat again…

Although she wants to walk in on the veranda as well, Arwen settles for a shower once in a while, which always ends up with her having a good roll in the sand and then Ali brushing her for ages…
