Ishtar & Arwen in March 2007

I can’t believe how quickly times has gone by! It seemed like yesterday when I brought Arwen along and went to see the house that Anette and I were to move into the following year. Now all of a sudden we’re 2008! Although our heads are filled with plans and little projects, we’ve have got a lot of things done during the past 10 months or so, but then again, we stayed inside (working on the house) for better part of autumn 2007!

We’ve lost a couple of trees since taking over the house (Anette’s horse Sahara is a huge tree lover, but not in the Green Peace sort of way…) but as soon as the rainy season starts, I’m going to plant hanza bushes all over the place! I’m also trimming all the jiga plants that are coming up like weeds, so that the garden will eventually be full of little green footballs that stay green all year round and never have to be watered… The horses are doing fine, owning half of the garden, and the silver details are turning out great!
