Quality moments are moments that are precious. Moments that money cannot buy. They come subtly, but when they come and you are in the midst of enjoying them, you just know they are “it”.
Quality moments come and go all the time, but so often, we do not even see them. In our quest for fulfillment, we all too often give up the little things in want for the greater things. I don’t believe you can ever be genuinely happy however if you cannot treasure the little things around you, regardless of how great your achievements are.
To me, life is lived the best knowing you are at the right place at the right time, doing what you do the best and thereby making a contributions to others. There is no “one without the other”. Moments, just as life in general, are best experienced when shared.
Back in the old days, I used to be a collector of many things. I collected books by favorite authors, perfume by the same designer, videos in the same format. There were things I just wanted to “have” and the more complete the collection, the greater my satisfaction.
Today, my heart desires something more what can be touched, and yet, I am still a collector.
A collector of quality moments.

Lovely-
Happiness is a choice, made when we determine what is important!
@Janet: You are right on - happiness really is a choice and one of the things I’ve learned in life is that contentment is really the key to satisfaction. I wasn’t born being content with all that I had (there are those people as well - they are my heroes!) but it’s been one of the things that living in Niger has taught me, and I’m so glad for it!
