My blogger friend Victoria Cummings of Teachings of a horse recently tagged me, wanting me to tell you 6 things about myself that most of you don’t already know. Well, adding to the 5 weird things about myself that Hanna wanted me to share, and the 8 random facts about myself that Mark Base asked for, that will now make the 19th piece of information about myself… Let’s hope there are still interesting things to say, less you must wait for tomorrow’s post.

  1. A blue sky, a cup of coffee and a ripe orange is all I need to experience an Ishtar Quality Moment.
  2. Ambition-wise, my official motto in life is as follows: I would rather be a good amateur in a number of things than to excel in one thing only and miss out on number of other enjoyable things.

  3. The older I become, the more I enjoy… sleeping! When I don’t get to do all that much of it, I find myself day dreaming about it… Many moments are spent planning for a siesta that never takes place or an early night, that is someone invested in other things anyway… When in dire need of catching up, I have no problem sleeping 17 hours (or more!) in a row… A practical talent, isn’t it?
  4. I love to ride but am not so passionate about riding alone anymore… My horses have me all figured out (they know I love speed) and unless there’s another rider involved, speed is about all I’m going to get, and I don’t want to wear out my horses! If there’s another rider involved however, the horses have no problem accepting an “ordinary pace”.

  5. As you may have discovered by now, I have a specific love for solar cooking famine foods! I rarely do the same thing twice, as the more I get to improvise, the more I enjoy the activity!

  6. Although my hair is very fine (typical Scandianvian quality…), it is very easy to handle. I cut it twice a year (myself) and can go for days without brushing it as all knots are resolved with water. When I lose too much weight, I often consider cutting it short and dying it brown, but I always end up changing my mind.
