Oh my gosh!!! So exciting!! I love her...she is just beautiful. Amazing photos of the birth...Arwen made it look easy:-) Congrats Auntie:-) I just watched a natural horsemanship dvd working with foals...it made me cry to see the possibilities and the relationship we can have with our horses. I look forward to watching Isolde grow up. Can I be a godmother?:-) So cool Ishtar...just a fantastic.

@LJB: Isn't she lovely? I must be the proudest foal-owner there is right now! Or everyone else feels equally fortunate! Time certainly has flown, although Sahara (Anette's horse) who was the one "allowed to breed" ;-) is due in late January. But still! Two years have passed since we first tried to have a foal with Arwen, and so I'm am so glad for Isolde!!

@Victoria: Thank you!!! Like I just told LJB, I'm overly proud right now :-) Anette tried to put a halter on Isolde, but even though it was a foal-sized halter, it just fell off! Too big... She'll simply have to grow a bit, but in the meantime, she gets lots of cuddles from the humans around her, whom she loves so much she leaps into their laps! She even loves the dog Dennis Mugu, lol! To his credit, he loves her, and has not been seen thinking of her as food yet! :-D

Congratulations! Isolde is darling, and Arwen seems to be a good mama. It's great that Anette is handling her a lot when she's small. We put a halter on Siete the day after she was born and got her used to being brushed and touched. She learned to trust people and it really helped when she grew up. I'll bet you can't wait to see her- a new foal is the incarnation of "joy".

Oh what a delight, your little Isolde! I bet you can't wait to be there in person with her. Such live comes in those little newborn packages. Thank you for alerting me to her arrival. How time flies -- I remember when you were -- allowing?? -- her to be bred? *g*

Greetings - Esther,

Your site is incredible, and your Eden Foundation sounds tremendous. I love that your wonderful family has found a way to contribute in a way that is sustainable and uplifting. I am so impressed! Isolde is beautiful.

Hi Esther!
I followed the comment link from the Virtual Tea House that you made--about the 30th anniversary of my mother's death...back here to your site, and lo and behold...there's Isolde in all her new found glory! Wow...

I love what you are being with your life (started to write 'doing' but knew that that is not the right word!). I'm very interested in the Eden Foundation. Is there a way to make a small on-going donation (the link only looks like it's a one time donation).

Thank you again for your comment on the Virtual Tea House. My prayer for you is peace as you go through this first cycle of the sun without your mother's physical presence.

@Karin: Isn't she??? I'm starting to wonder who I lived without a baby cutie in the garden all these years! But then again, in the beginning, it was enough just having Arwen there...

@Lori: I didn't know you had so much Swedish heritage! That's cool! How I got here in the first place is a long story, and best described in the About Eden page:

Esther...thank you for your comment! My husband is 100% Swedish and I am 50% (used to be an Olson). What an interesting journal. I can't wait to learn more about you and your mission. How did you get there in the first place?

First of all: happy birthday to Anette!

The horses look great! Isolde has filled out so much already. A very healthy baby. I love the way she and Dennis play together. She is way too cute! I can't wait for you to get back and get your hands on that beautiful baby. Anette has done such a great job but I know you can hardly stand being away.

Hi, Esther and thank you!
I have a lot to tell you about Isolde and what have happen this weekend. She is a real "Tok Fia"! It's not easy to take pictures on her when she is now walking or galloping after me. We have become real good fiends...
Talk to you later!
