In just a few hours, if all goes well, nine and a half week old Ridgebow’s Radiant Reya of Navy, aka Sheba will be sitting on a plane at my feet heading for Africa! I don’t think she’ll mind the change of climate however, as she loves the heat and hates to be out in the cold rain!
I had to leave her this weekend for the first time, when I went to attend my sister’s final PhD ceremony.
Although I made no fuss about it, Sheba showed some true Rhodesian ridgeback skills in picking up all sorts of signals, and kept climbing up in my lap for “security”…
Being without me for 24 hours wasn’t that bad though, as she had two other humans to care for her. The episode also resulted in Sheba and Milla the poodle finally making friends!
