On Friday morning, before going to work, Anette and I went over to my brother’s garden to look at some morning flowers that my mother would have liked. Being of a precious kind, they only bloom in the mornings and retire when the sun gets too strong.
I love life, when you stop to look at the little things…
Yes, my mother would have loved them! Purple was her absolute favourite colour.

Speaking of stopping to look at the little things, these are delicate and beautiful! And, you mother had a great appreciation for beauty. Purple is my favorite color as well.
Esther…the flowers are beautful. I am amazed by the green grass in your photos… it is such a contrast to the sand. So, you have 1 brother in Niger and a sister in Sweden?
Does Sheba go in the water everyday? The post about the trees is so interesting. Thanks for your comments, I am really enjoying your site.

@Pat: I agree! Josef & Renate’s garden is spacious and cool - and looks tropical during rainy season!
@Fe:
@Lori: Yes, one brother in Niger and one sister in Sweden. As for Sheba and the water, she takes about 3-5 dips per day, depending on her mood. Sometimes she sits in the water, sometimes she lays down and other times she just splashes water onto her belly and that’s enough! By the way, I’m glad Photogchic brought us together with her Isolde post as I enjoy both your site and your comments!
Wow, that first picture looks as if you’re in some magical garden. Where’s the castle…?
A vision of Eden. How about using the first pic on top of today’s post as banner of your blog from now on?
As usual, great pics in great post.
