Today was the end of Ramadan here in Zinder.
Ali can now start eating and drinking again, and best of all, he can take that malaria test and get the parasites out of his system! We tried to send him to the doctor a week ago, but he said he would have to fast all over again if he had his blood drawn, and wanted to finish the last couple of days so that he would not have to redo the process all over again.
There are races at the race track going on all week, but we won’t have time to go until this weekend, when hopefully, Isolde will make her racetrack debut!
