For five weeks, a little filly slept alone next to her gentle mother, but yesterday, something different happened!
… Isolde got company! It wasn’t for the whole night, but for a good half an hour in the evening as we were saying goodnight to all our pets.
The body language is crystal clear: “Hey you! Don’t drop that head of yours on top of me, or I may not be here all that long!”
After a while, the filly got down to some serious sleeping, while Sheba took the opportunity to give her new-found friend a decent pedicure!
And Isolde who adores being pampered with offered no protest of the kind!
After a while, both youngsters got very tired…
…and Sheba made her best attempt to look like a horse. If she could just have a white star on her forehead like our equine herd, I’m sure no one would be able to tell the difference in the dark! ![]()

I think they will grow up to be best of friends, almost like sisters!
Sheba has her own unique white “star” on her chest.
Esther…I love these photos!!! The bond has been made and they will grow up together.

Vi var faktiskt pågång att skaffa en valp från samma kul din kommer ifrån.
Lycka till med ditt arbete i Africa.

Absolutely ADORABLE!!
This is adorable! I love the look in Sheba’s eyes. You can almost read her mind just looking at her eyes!
That’s priceless! You are so lucky to have these two adorable buddies. How does Arwen like Sheba?
