@Fe: The rainy season normally lasts from end of June - beginning of July to early or late September, although it’s happened (at least once before) for the season to carry on in October, as it did this year. Personally, the most amazing contrast is the new leaves that come in the midst of the dry season - before it’s even started to rain again!

I find these bloom astonishing as I think of very dry conditions in Niger (know next to nothing!). How long does the rainy season last?
