Having been blessed with so many little ones this season (a Rhodesian Ridgeback pup from Sweden, two barb fillies and a little goat), the challenge now is to make sure to spend time with each and every one of them, and not just the ones that take up the most room (no names mentioned but I am sure you can guess!).

With the exception of Kalahari - who seems shy but whose character we have yet to make out - Allis is the most subtle of our little creatures.

But with such a sweet character, there is no risk of neglecting her!

I love that little face of hers!

I am sure she will grow up to be a very elegant doe - perhaps even as beautiful as her mother!

Here she is with her little horns coming out… Isn’t she a darling?

That said, there will be no unsupervised male visits at Ishtar’s Ark for quite some time now! The ark is full, and no, the animals will not be moving into the house. That’s an Official Anette Rule, and if she complied to my (unspoken) wishes (which only concerns Sheba, by the way, during certain selected moments when Sheba gives “the look”…) I would have to allow Anette to bring Sahara inside, which settles the issue even for me. No animals in the house, and no unsurpervised male visits for quite some time. Sorry Illami!
