Since leaving Sheba in Niger, I have heard numerous stories and updates from my family. I have even listened to the thumping of her tail on Skype! Both Anette and I miss our Shebes, who is always up to something and who has so many smiles to share!

Today, my sister-in-law sent me the first visuals since our departure two weeks ago, and oh how I wish I could have stepped into the picture! Sheba is doing fine however, being on home turf and surrounded by 90% of her flock. I read the look in her eyes as in “Come on Sani, I’m being a good girl here and waiting patiently, will you please give me that food??” but it allowed my sister-in-law to take a good picture!
Aw… can’t wait to see her again!

I know you can’t wait to wrap your arms around her again,

That Sheba is such a pretty girl. Of course she misses you as much as you miss her. Good thing you got a RR fix with her family.
Oh how beautful Sheba has become. I LOVE that you hear her tail thumping on Skype. Well done on your sister-in-law for the beautiful photo of Sheba sitting for her dinner. Enjoy your holiday. (((Hugs))))
