I am with Bryan on this - also grew up with the taste of Sashimi & Co. and it just rocks. Hard to convince others though, especially vegans who don't eat fish and dislike the (in their opinion) fishy taste of Miso soup.

I could eat this almost every day of the week! Nice, thx 4 sharing. Now let me go look for dinner :-)

Mmm...! now you have me hungry for sushi! It's been too long, really. Here in this part of the States, Bluefin Tuna (my favorite!) is pretty much available year round. That's one of the nice things about where I live. Our coast is only about 12 miles from where the warm currents of the Gulf Stream meet the colder currents from the North Atlantic, so if it swims there's a pretty good chance you can find it here!

Yeah, I definitely have a full-blown sushi jones going now. I'll have to fix that for sure! (And soon!)

That sushi looks delicious! We have a favorite Chinese restaurant with sushi that looks just like that! I love the pickled ginger, too.

I learned the hard way how hot wasabi is! Now I avoid it.

I've been eating sushi and wasabi as long as I can remember, so I always find it very amusing when people try wasabi for the first time. Those who stick with it eventually love it, so hopefully Hanna does.

That avocado-crab looks amazing. I've never had anything like that before...something to suggest to the chefs in my area. Have you ever had halibut? It's so, so very very good.

Oh that all looks so good! I think that is one of my favorite things about Sweden. There is always some kind of seafood in season there. I'm in the midwestern US and getting truly fresh seafood is rare!

It looks so good! Here in My Muskoka (2 hours drive north of the city of Toronto) we have a retired Japanese baseball player who opened up a sushi restaurant. We are so grateful!

Another family has bought a bar and has E. Indian food. A nice break from pub food!

Well it all looks very pretty and delicious. Have to admit, I'm not a big sushi eater. And I agree with Hanna about the Wasabi being a bit to hot. Enjoy dinner.
