This is a huge change from your work in Niger. I’m sure it’s healthy to see both sides - the so-called civilized, and the more primitive (and more natural) land in Niger.

As teachers sometimes say here, “Esther makes good use of time and materials” and, “Esther is a good independent worker.” I am very impressed with your diligence and self-discipline! Even after twenty-some years in Niger, and you still must study the language–that shows what a difficult language it is for westerners to learn!
