I’m off to work with little time to write, but here are some pictures of Sheba’s Seven that my dad has been sending me. It’s lovely to come back from work and open a mailbox full of images of little rascals! You’ve asked a lot of questions, which I hope to come back to in full, but here are a few quick replies: We hope to keep as many as possible, which can be anything from three to seven. Yes, three of them have ridges. The lighter puppies (the firstborn female and the lastborn male) might be taking after their uncle Baloo, as Baghera himself was an all-black newborn. Two of the puppies (a male and a female) have inherited Baghera’s dark, dark babycoat, but they won’t stay as dark as they are now. Kashalee & others - I won’t be back in Niger until the puppies are eight weeks old, but thankfully, there is Internet these days!

Here are the puppy pics now, hope you enjoy!
