The sun likes to set while we’re out in the bush, somewhere.

And we like to stop when it does, even when we’re going far or have a long way back.

Some images are just worth having on picture.

The critters don’t always understand why we’re stopping,

… and nor do the villagers, who often ask us if everything is alright. After all, why would two young girls be stopping in the middle of nowhere, unless we were in some sort of difficulty?

But no, everything is alright. We’re just taking a moment, that’s all.

A beautiful, life qualitish moment, watching another of the sun’s unique and spectacular exits. I never get tired of it!

More great shots. You must ride at that time because it is cooler. What would the temperature be then?
Thank you for stopping and for sharing the moment.

Esther: Very interesting sky captures on your ride.
And HOW worth it those stops are. If I were there, I would stop, too. Worth every second–late back home or not.

So nice to take the time to enjoy the “little” things.

You have heard the saying “Stop and smell the roses”…well what you do is similar..you just “Stop and see the sunsets”.

How much better to stop for fun than for trouble. Lovely photos. You always capture the beauty of the land so well in your photos.
The orange-turning-to-pink sky is just beautiful!
Quite amazing exit it was with all that pale pink. Good that you have somebody to help if it´s some day needed.
Wow - orange sky, then pink. And another sky photo with horse ears! Great shots.

What’s not to love about beautiful scenery, sunshine and warmth?
You’re lucky to have the opposite of what we’ve got in Vancouver, which is rain and cold!
