Nej tyvärr….Bor ju i Sverige…Alla bananer ser exakt likadana ut och det roligast med dem är väl att de kan skifta färg från grönt till brunt om man lägger dem i fönstret en längre tid….

I used to get these in Tanzania. They’re so sweet. Usually, they were used for cooking when green. I prefer the small, tart, bananas known as apple bananas in Hawaii. In Moçambique, we had some bananas that stayed green. We knew they were ripe when they would break apart. When we first encountered them, we waited for them to change colour and they always got over ripe. Bananas are great.

If they are small, sweet and creamy like plantains I love them. First tried in Mexico.

Esther - when my bananas start looking like this - I make banana bread! I have a feeling these are an exotic Niger variety that I have never tasted.
