What’s the Tamashek term for that cool outfit you were sporting on this year Tabaski? It had never occurred to me to do so before, but I wish I could download for wallpaper use those pictures of you in that lovely dress.

Esther, I didn’t think you could look more beautiful. I was wrong. That outfit was made for you. And I suspect it was only partly responsible for the smiles of your pink-clad friend from Agadez.

I didn’t realize that western Africa had a strong Islamic influence though. I suppose I’m not surprised, really, I just never thought about it.
