Last Sunday, I blogged about Kimi’s heartache and his longing for his own family, whom he had not met for nearly two months. Well, the family arrived on Tuesday and on Wednesday, my father finally got to hand over the present he had promised his grand-daughter Tabita.

Upon arrival, Kimi’s first instinct was to bark! After all, there were now people in the garden he had been visiting with his canine friends for many weeks in a row.

He quickly realised who those people were, and came up to greet them.

One of the greatest things about Kimi is that he doesn’t forget people. Even though he was only three months old when they left, he recognised each and everyone of them and the relationsship was picked up just where it was left.

Priscilla was unfortunate to tumble over during her first encounter with a large and eager pup, but safe in her grandfather’s lap, she could too greet the new family member!

The Garden was nothing new to Kimi, and he felt right at home, checking out the premises and leaving his scent.

During our entire visit, he did not come to me once, but stayed close to Tabita all the time.

I tried summing them up for a parting picture, but both of them disappeared from the camera…

…running off to new adventures!

I am happy to say that Kimi is now happily reunited with his family and taking his job as a family member and guardian very seriously. Sheba and I have been to visit him often, and today, he and his lady friend Donja (aka The White Lady) spent the morning at Ishtar’s Ark together with Kimi’s mother Sheba and his uncle Dennis. Kimi’s dark-ridged brother and sister Roiboos & Malva have also moved into their permanent home and are now guarding Eden property together with their Uncle Baloo, who is very happy to have them both on his team. More on that within short!
