we know very little about what’s going on or the reasons for all the turmoil. but it doesn’t matter. change–i.e., life–happens.

Esther…Esther. I can’t imagine why you were at the police station. It sounds like your entire family is exhausted and not feeling well. Does your father not understand what this “marriage” plan is doing to your family? Joy’s blog profile says she lives in the United States…why are you all in Taiwan? I’m sure you would not continue to stay there if it were not a very serious situation.
I can’t imagine what this is costing you in time and energy…let alone the $$$$. Who is taking care of the Eden Foundation? If your father did not still want to get married, I don’t think he would be there. I wish you well. You can’t stay there forever.

What kind of legal situation gets the police involved there?
There had to be more than woodoo pendants and bracelets? I doubt there would be police involvement just those items.

Logically, what this new twist shows me, that Father did not give up on Joy, and really wants to redeem and marry her. Otherwise, I cannot imagine a family of 5 waste all this money, time and energy in
staying over in Taipei, trying to “negotiate” with Joy.

Unless revenge is involved, I cannot imagine any other reason.

Maybe if we would know what was the point for Father to decide to go to Taipei from Fankfurt - this would be clear one way or the other.

I hope you will get better, and wrap this up fast.

I will! I will get some lemon from the supermarket for them tomorrow. We had a short dialogue when they came back 30 minutes ago(3 am). Josef cough almost all the time, Miriam looked tired, Esther lost her voice, and uncle S looked tired, too!

Police Station? I hope all is well? I hope, now that you have met with Joy, you are seeing a little progress? After reading this post I also am left with lots of questions but I am sure it does not compare to the questions you are left with. I hope you find the answers soon.
