The puppies have been growing, which is hardly a surprise, seeing they are two weeks old today!

Sheba has been a good mother, but seven little ones eager to nurse is a tiresome full-time job which now requires a good dose of resting too!

Ever since their birth, I have been pampered with lots and lots of pictures of the growing ones,

which is precious, as neither Anette nor I want to miss a thing!

My father has been weighing the puppies regularly, keeping track on who is growing well (like Mr Biyu above, who can hardly fit on the weighing scale anymore) and who isn’t (the two smallest females, Miss Uku and Miss Hudu).

My cousin Daniel has been practicing on his marcos, which makes the puppy pictures so personal and cute! Here they are, in order:

Miss Daya - who on her seventh day started to open her eyes

Mr Biyu aka The Bull

Little Miss Uku

Little Miss Hudu

Miss Biyar, who is competing with the boys for top position (currently the third largest pup)

Here she is, working on her lifts… Perhaps she will be the first pup to walk, ey?

Mr Shida - who for some reason seems to be Sheba’s favourite cleaning object!

Mr Bakwai - the youngest of the lot!

Here are some shots after they opened their eyes:

Welcome to the world, Miss Daya!

Welcome to the world, Miss Uku!

Welcome to the world, Mr Shida!

Miss Biyar did not want to show her beautiful eyes for the cameras, but chose to portray her ridge instead!

Mr Biyu - aka the Bull - took the photoshooting with the usual amount of ease. Sey hakuri, no worries here!

I leave you with some the Sleeping Puppy Highlights of the Week!

Oh, you just know they are so soft and sweet.
That last photo is just too cute!
They’re growing so fast and, now they’re eyes are open, they’ll be proper little characters.
Oh Esther, I just love the photos - the pale eyes as the little ones survey the world for the first time. And the last photo is TOO cute - all rumpled bottom lip. Thanks for sharing these precious moments. Hugs from Jo
They’re all so cute. Sheba looked like she really needed her nap!
Checking your pics becomes my part-time job during my vacation. Thanks for sharing!
They are growing sooo fast and getting sooo cute. : )
I love Mr. Biyu’s nickname…the Bull! It’s great that you (and therefore we) are able to see the puppies grow right before our eyes as we check in each day.
Just a few more weeks and you’ll see them in person.
How’s work?
Thanks for keeping us in the loop. All look GREAT!
They are getting so big! And cuter every time I see them!
Love their little pink toes — they look like moles, all fat and flat and ready to dig up the yard!
Oh, oh, oh! These litte guys and gals are just sooooo cute! We wish we were there to give them a cuddle! Great photos - we’re enjoying seeing how the family is growing. Tail wags - JD and Max.
OOhh, they’re really cute! Adorable. I could understand why mom is so pooped after all that feeding.
Happy weekend!

How wonderful it is!
My old dog, Muffin, 15, has been on antibiotics for a few days… I think it’s helped her eyes and for the first time in such a long time, I think she could see me… just a little bit…out of her one good eye… I almost cried.
I love their names!
All the best to you ~Maria
